    Job Description:


    The Main Panel Upgrade Technician is responsible for providing the technical expertise to safely plan and perform main panel upgrades for residential solar projects. This position will work both independently and with the Solar Installation crews, performing other electrical work related to solar installations.


    Responsibilities include:

    • Safely plan and complete Main Panel Upgrades (MPU).
    • Remove existing main service panel from residential structures - for both flush mount and surface mount.
    • Diagnose and troubleshoot system components to resolve electrical issues.
    • Establish good working relationships with utility company and local AHJ’s.
    • Create pick-list of all needed material for upcoming projects.
    • Assist in the preparation for upcoming projects. 


    Educational, professional and/or other requirements:

    • 2-3 years electrical experience or a CA electricians license.
    • Knowledge of solar system tie in/ testing.
    • Strong analytical and creative problem solving skills.
    • Must be comfortable working from ladders and at heights.

    Pay rate: $25/hr Plus Paid Benefits
